We've Got It Covered, Naturally!
We are a family operated business with a long-standing reputation in the community.
We opened our composting operations to the general public in 1988.
We are "site assigned" by the State of Massachusetts DEP to legally accept the
disposal of stumps and brush, as well as
leaves. No bamboo disposals accepted. No grass disposals accepted.
Disposals are accepted for a fee which is based on the size of the load on the vehicle,
utility trailer or truck. After visual inspection, the staff directs the customers to
either our long-term composting area or the grinding area (accelerated composting) for
their disposals.
The disposals received for long-term composting are reclaimed after a period of 5-7
years. When it is reclaimed, it is then mixed with compost and screened to make a naturally
organic 3/4" minus Screened Loam.
The remaining stumps and brush is directed to the accelerated composting area. This
area is where we manufacture our own high quality
Chestnut Brown Mulch at an affordable price.
We accept the disposals of leaves which is then ground and further aged to
make a beautiful, naturally organic Compost.
We also offer a variety of beautiful bark mulches, such as Crimson Mix, Dark Mix, Black Forest, Cocoa Brown and Cypress.
For your miscellaneous projects we also have wood chips,
clean fill and sand (sand is not washed) for sale.
All of our materials are for sale to the general public. Because of our long-term
experience and working with our customers to hear their needs, we can offer high quality
and consistent materials. We have loading availability for our customers who wish to
have us load the materials onto their trucks or utility trailers of all sizes (1 cubic
yard minimum loading). We can deliver materials using our 6-wheeler or 10-wheeler dump
truck (6 cubic yard minimum for deliveries). Advance notice for deliveries is strongly
recommended in order to better accommodate the delivery of your materials. For larger
or commercial projects, we can arrange for bulk deliveries.
We're easy to find! Go to our "Hours & Directions" page for a
map and find out what days and hours we're open.
